Sova, the Russian word for owl, was a natural fit for this student community serving Kennesaw State University,
whose mascot is the owl. I developed a contemporary brand identity centered on a geometric owl icon paired with
a clean, modern wordmark whose letterforms subtly echo the owl’s eyes and beak. The vibrant icon brings energy and personality, while the navy typography grounds the brand with sophistication and confidence. The identity was designed to scale consistently across every touchpoint—from signage to marketing collateral and digital media.
